Levi is 8-10 years old and came to us from a rural shelter in April 2022. He had been abandoned after his owners moved, and was very fearful and unsocialized when he arrived. He has permanent vision loss in his right eye, but is otherwise healthy after being treated for some early medical issues. Levi’s biggest challenge has been trying to overcome his fears. Thanks to his foster home and the support of trainers, he has made tremendous progress. He still doesn’t like to be alone and needs the company of his humans or a fellow canine. Because of his age and fearfulness, we decided to make Levi one of our Forever Fosters. He resides with his patient foster mom and three other senior canines who help him feel secure.
