Adoption Fees
The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the expenses we incur to take in and care for our Goldens. Every dog receives a thorough veterinary examination, lab work, treatment for existing conditions such as skin and ear infections, and updating on vaccinations and preventatives. Others need much more care such as specific tests, referrals to specialists, orthopedic and general surgery, and dental work. The current average expense for dogs in our care is more than $2,500.
Effective August 1st, 2025, adoption fees are:
Puppy – 12 months: $750
13 months – 4 years: $600
5–8 years: $550
9 years and older: $300
